Born in 1991: the Metal Goat
If you were born in 1991, your Chinese zodiac sign is the Goat 羊, and the year's Heavenly Stem is Xin, which gives the year its element: Metal. So a full 1991 reading is a Metal Goat. People born in 1991 turn 35 years old in 2026 (or have already, depending on the birthday).
The one exception: January and February birthdays
The Chinese zodiac year does not start on January 1. In 1991, Lunar New Year fell on 1991-02-15. Anyone born in 1991 before that date belongs to the previous year's animal — use the homepage finder with an exact birth date and it handles the boundary for you.
Metal Goat personality, briefly
Kind, creative and peace-loving, the Goat notices beauty and feelings that busier signs walk straight past. Goats work best with encouragement and a calm environment, and worry more than they let on. The Metal stem is traditionally said to shade that character — Metal adds precision, resolve and a taste for high standards. One sentence is all a birth year can honestly carry; the rest is entertainment.
